Diving deep

Diving deep

You dive right into, the water feels cool as a wave close above you. But it isn’t uncomfortable, it just feels like water should feel, really clean, fluid, taking all your worries with it. Immediately you sense freedom invading you, the water feels endless and boundary-less. You know you can go anywhere.
So you dive deeper and listen. The water is gurgling around you and in the distance you hear deep sounds of orcas singing. You know that they can still be really far away but nonetheless you are curious to go there. You turn towards the sound and listen to it every now and then to assure that you are on the right path. Now you finally open your eyes. What a variety you see! The water has all shades of blue, green and grey and sometimes even simmers colorfully. There is a lot of movement around you, the water is constantly pushing and pulling and changing its colors. Sometimes some algae drift alongside you and they are green, orange, red, blue, brown, all sorts of colors you can imagine. Some are bigger, quite long and when you touch one of it you sense the life in it, only a little bit but you know it’s there. The one you choose is long, greenish with a soft touch of orange at the tips. It looks beautiful and you decide to keep it. The next one you catch is smaller, looking like a tree with lots of branch, really delicate and it is of a bright red and orange. It has life inside of it as well, you can sense that. How? You don’t really know, just the energy with this knowledge flows to you. You attach it to the one you already have. They match pretty well.

As you move on you dive into a whole field of algae and the whole world changes. Light reflects from all over the place in various colors and creates rainbows all around you. Also the sounds changes, you no longer hear the orcas singing but instead a soft voice sings quietly without words, matching the algae moving around you. Yet, it tells the story of this magical place, this wood of algae with its colors and its inhabitants. At first you only get a few glimpses of these inhabitants, the fish disappear pretty quickly again. But soon they follow you, they surround you and you feel safe diving among them. You know you have found companions along your way. Then something glittering catches your eye. It’s sparkling quite some distance beneath you. Are you curious?
You dive deeper and finally leave the wood of algae behind you. The water gets cooler on your skin and surprisingly you can hear the orcas even louder now. But apart from that it is silent. You take a moment to listen to the silence. It invades you and calms your mind, your heart, your soul, it brings you peace. But is it truly silent? No, actually now you can hear the whole softly playing orchestra of the sea. Tune in and listen for a moment. You paused diving but now the sparkles catch your attention again, you are curious to see what it is. From this distance you can only see light reflections but you dive deeper and deeper into the sea and get closer to it.

What you find is dust, sparkling dust. It is spread on the floor of the sea, covering just a small area but it radiates all colors of the rainbow. But wait, where does the light come from? Apart from the dust it is dark around you, the water is soft on your skin and you’ve lost the track of time. You dive even closer and now you can see: the dust itself radiates light, in all different colors. What will you do with it? What can you imagine?
